Founded in 2019, Allegiant Virtual is a non-profit virtual aviation community composed of flight simulation enthusiasts who fly on platforms such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, and Prepar3D.

Our virtual headquarters is based at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, reflecting the central role the city plays in Allegiant-style leisure operations.

The mission of Allegiant Virtual is to provide an engaging and welcoming environment where members can experience a loosely simulated airline operation, expand their aviation knowledge, and enjoy flight simulation while developing basic to advanced piloting skills using commercial simulation software. We strike a balance between realism and accessibility, ensuring that pilots can participate meaningfully without unnecessary complexity.

For members seeking realistic operations, Allegiant Virtual focuses on leisure-driven service from small and medium-sized, often underserved, North American cities using real-world schedules. In addition to scheduled routes, pilots may also fly charter operations, participate in unique tours and organized events, or operate flights freely to destinations of their choosing, allowing for both structured and creative flying.

We maintain flexible membership expectations to accommodate varying schedules and real-life commitments. Our only ongoing activity requirement is that pilots complete a minimum of one flight every 30 days using approved fleet aircraft, including the Airbus A319/A320, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737 MAX 8, Boeing 757-200, and the McDonnell Douglas MD-80 series.

In January 2026, and in keeping with our commitment to operational realism, Allegiant Virtual virtually acquired Sun Country Airlines, expanding our operations to include its Boeing 737-800 and 737-900 aircraft along with associated schedules.

We are proud to be the first officially recognized Allegiant Virtual “VA Partner” on the VATSIM Network, and we continue to be the longest-established Allegiant-branded virtual airline operating continuously on the network.
